he author has yet again done an amazing job. This book contains dark themes, so if that is not the kind of book for you, this book is not for you.
For those who don't mind dark themes, the author has done a brilliant job writing this book.
The book is well written, smooth flowing and easy to read. The author does a great job portraying the characters, their emotions and the experiences they go through. Once I started the book I couldn't put it down. It kept me completely captivated from the first page through the last. I had to know what was going to happen next.
The characters are easy to love or hate. Violet (Letty) has been through so much. She is a beautiful woman who is constantly treated as a piece of meat in her work place. She has worked as the assistant to Grayson Maxwell for six years. She is in and out of his office every day, and not once has he seen her. She is a hard worker, she is good at her job, but she can no longer stand the way that she is treated.
Grayson Maxwell is not your typical CEO. Partially due to his upbringing and his his former career, he is one of the most obsessed people you will ever meet. He has had the most amazing personal assistant that a CEO could ask for, working for him for the past six years, and never once has he seen her. Until the day she's had enough.
Now that he has noticed her, she instantly becomes his newest obsession. The need to know everything about her, be close to her, the desire to love her for the rest of his life. How far will he let his obsession go when it comes to getting what he wants? How will she react? Will he find out what she would rather not remember herself?
I highly recommend this book to those who like romance books with a darker twist.
