I voluntarily read a copy of this book. Wow this book was a winner!I liked it even better than the first book in this series. We learned about Griff and Britta in Max and Keeley's book but this explains a lot of their problems, and we find out what happened to them, and why they are not still together. I have to say this book brought me to tears with all the emotional baggage between them and what each of them carries on their own. Which explains why they both have trust issues. While this story was heart breaking I was rooting for them to get back together.This book will bring you emotional highs and lows, and as with the first book you get many twists and turns. You also "see" them (read about) grow and understand more of what is going on between them as they climb each hurdle in their relationship. I admit that I wanted to bang each of their heads together a few times! I love books like this one that makes you get involved in a story and gets a response like that! It takes a good author to be able to involve you in their story like that. This book draws you in like that and doesn't let you go until the last page, and by then you want the story to keep going because you aren't ready to let the characters go! This book was written with understanding, emotion, and love, with the chemistry between the main characters being explosive and "watching" (reading about) Griff fall in love with his little boy is priceless and awe inspiring! Now I can't wait for the next book in this series and I am hoping it is about Max and Griff's sister who was in both books as a supporting character! I voluntarily read a copy of this book. I absolutely loved it ! I fell in love with Keeley from the start her character is happy, upbeat and positive most of the time. Maxon is a character you love to hate, and are secretly rooting for to wake up and see what he's been missing all his life, but he made me so mad I wanted to give him a swift kick in his Arse! Whether you have read any books of this author or you haven't, you are in for a real treat! This book has a sexy alpha male who wants to be the top real estate mogul in Hawaii, and is willing to do just about anything to be just that! Right now he is neck and neck with his younger brother for the title, and is not above distracting him so he can get a multi-million dollar real estate listing, what distracts Griff, women! Max thinks he has found the perfect distraction in Keeley for his brother,BUT not before he samples her first! Max really is a total butt head! Max meets Keeley singing in a bar and thinks she is a perfect distraction for Griff. except Max and Keeley together could ignite TNT! Sexual chemistry abounds with these two! There is an under story woven into this book, and it has a depth of layers to the characters that many authors never achieve. The writing is smooth and the story flowed without me being able to figure out what was going to happen before it did. I could not predict the twists and turns in this book and was totally surprised at the end when all was revealed! This book was an emotional journey that I will not soon forget. I read and reviewed this book as a member of the Mommy's Naughty Playground Review Team.
