About Bearliest Catch:
Drew spends his days fishing in the Pacific, far from Grizzly Cove, seeking the peace of the ocean. Jetty lives in the ocean, part of a hunting party of mer folk, in near-constant danger now from the evil creature that roams the deep. When they meet, sparks fly and the ocean comes alive with danger. Can they get her people to safety?

I absolutely love this book. I couldn’t get enough of it. Once I started it I couldn’t put it down. It kept me completely captivated from the first page through the last. The book is extremely well written, smooth flowing and easy to read. The imagery is amazing. I could picture every scene in vivid detail, and it painted some beautiful pictures in my mind.
When I read this book I did not realize that it was the 6th book in a series. I do not feel as if I missed anything by not reading them in order, but would love to go back and read the others and I want more of the characters.
I love the lead made of the book. Drew is a grizzly bear shifter. After having a near fatal injury, he is completely healed physically. However, it has left behind lots of psycholigical damage. His favorite part of living in Grizzly Cove is being so close to the ocean, the only place where he can find solace and some semblance of peace. Watching him learn, change and grow through the book was amazing.
Jetty is a huntress of the ocean. She is strong, independent, sassy and caring. After catching her first sight of Drew she is extremely intrigued. She is drawn to him but has no idea why. She is weary of strangers and firecly protective of her people.
Will she be able to lower her guard just enough to get to know Drew? With everyone in the area in danger will they be able to find a way to trust each other enough to work together to do whatever it takes to protect their people?
I highly recommend this book to shifter / paranormal romance lovers. I can’t wait to read the rest of the series.
