Excerpt 1:
Captain Jack “Dagger” Drake knelt on one knee before her as the sun was just coloring the horizon into a crisp orange dawn. His eyes had long since adjusted to the dark, but the gentle glow of the sky began to reflect off her skin, highlighting the delicious edges of her curvy body.
He’d never felt this way before…he loved her shape, loved her personality, he loved everything about her, and the more he learned about her, the more he wanted her. Best of all, the way he felt when he was inside her was downright ecstasy. She wasn’t his first, not by a long shot, and even though it had only been a short time, the flutter deep in his gut when he saw her, touched her, felt her, was that unmistakable, intoxicating excitement of lust mixing with the budding feelings of love.
It was cold here in the Mojave at dawn, and when he deeply inhaled the crisp desert air mixed with her unmistakable fragrance, Dagger’s heart skipped a beat. He could identify that scent anywhere, and the excitement it gave him felt electric, right out to the tips of his fingers and the ends of his toes.
He slowly stood up, stretched an arm into the air and gently touched her skin, cool to the touch, having been caressed by the gentle night breeze that always seemed to eerily calm down here as the sun inched closer to peeking over the mountains that guarded over the Las Vegas Valley.
And then, it was time. Dagger turned around and took ten steps away from her—it was time to take in her grandeur one last time before he sweetly entered her and then vigorously used her. He slowly turned back toward where she lay to admire her in her naked totality before him. There was simply nothing else like her…she was the finest, fastest, meanest, sleekest, and sexiest aircraft a pilot could ever have the opportunity to fly, and today she would be all his.
Firmly grasping the ladder, Dagger quickly ascended and, at the top, turned his torso to the right and placed his butt into the seat of the F-16 Viper fighter jet. Getting into the airplane was quite an awkward dance ritual due to the tight confines of the airplane’s cockpit and the rakish angle that the pilot’s seat was reclined to. After placing his butt on the seat, he then lifted his legs over the side of the cockpit walls and inserted them into the foot-wells in front of the ejection seat, wiggling his body into proper seating position.
His hands methodically began to clip, snap, and buckle the many belts, restraints, communications cords, and G-suit fittings required to keep him safely attached to a machine that would soon be hurtling through the skies at over 500 miles per hour. He lifted the helmet up and slid it down on to his head, affixing the chinstrap and adjusting the oxygen mask that hung from the side of the helmet.
Dagger quickly moved his hands throughout the various buttons and switches in the cockpit. In the soft dawn light he couldn’t see them all, but he had long since memorized the routine of where each switch was and what position it needed to be in to safely bring the sleek jet to life. He could do it in his sleep and blindfolded…and had more than once during his training awakened in the middle of the night with a jolt, his hands stretched out into the darkness reaching for a switch that only existed in the confines of Dagger’s dream about the checklists he spent the days and weeks memorizing.
His checklists complete, Dagger twirled a gloved finger in the air, signaling to the maintenance technician standing in front of the airplane that he was ready to start the massive jet engine and awaken the sleek, sexy girl that Jack Drake had dreamed of being inside ever since his childhood.

Excerpt 2:
Tap, Tap, Tap at her door, followed by, “Lauren, open up, baby!”
Gosh dang it, he was early!
She wiped at her face in a desperate attempt to clean up before walking to the door.
“Jackson Remington Drake, you’re three hours early! I’m not ready, come back later.”
“The f*** I will! Open this damn door or I’ll break it down. I’m desperate for you woman.”
She wanted to see him so badly she could taste it as she slid the door open. “I’m a mess,” she whined as he wrapped her in his arms and sunk his lips on hers, carrying her inside as they kissed. “You’re the most beautiful mess I’ve ever seen. We left early to beat the weather in Utah—it was either get out or be stuck another night.” He sniffed, looking around, “What is that heavenly smell?”
“Pecan pie,” she answered.
Pee-can?” he smirked, poking fun at her pronunciation.
“Yes, pee-can, no one in their right mind would eat puh-cahn pie,” she countered, “and it’s for dessert. But I need to cook! I had the perfect evening planned…”
“Babe, any evening with you is the perfect evening.” He reached up and wiped flour from her cheek and smiled as she wrapped her arms around him.
