SYNOPSIS
After ditching her cheating, no-good lying, jerk of a fiance at the doors to the alter, Scarlett Lynn Summers aka Red is lost...but not for too long. Thanks to her spunky best friend, she won't stay under her covers hiding for long. Barging in with guns a blazin and curses a flyin, Mary Lou drags Red out for a weekend worth of adventures that just might be more than she bargains for.

I received this book for an honest review.
This is a nice introduction to a set of characters that you just can't help but want to be friends with.
The book opens up with Mary Lou trying to help her best friend Scarlett "Red" out of her depression and trying to get her to deal with the events that happened in the last two week.
Mary Lou and Red head out to the lake for a bonfire where her ex fiance just happens to be there and she is trying to not see him and avoid him.
Enter Mason Pierce.
He has been in love with Red for as long as she can remember and Mason makes Red feel something inside that she never felt with her ex Jake.
Mason is home for the summer to help out his dad.
He has his chance to get closer to Red and he takes it.
They finally admit to each other how the feel and try to figure out how to get there.
This is a great first book to the series and I am looking forward to reading more about them and see where this new couple will go.
Can they start with a clean slate or will they be stuck by it?
